Funeral Services for Mrs. Vera Nell Smith Benson, age 87 will be 12 Noon
Wednesday from the Chapel of Leon Johnson Funeral Home with burial in the Forrest Hill Cemetery East in Memphis at 2:45 P.M.
Mrs. Benson died Sunday night at the Chester County Health Care in Henderson.
She was born in Hinkle Tennessee daughter of the late Arnold and Ida Newman Smith She attended school in Milledgeville and was married to Frank Benson in 1936. They moved to Henderson in 1945 where she was employed by Salant & Salant. They later moved to Memphis in 1956 and lived there before moving back to Henderson in 1982.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Henderson. Mrs. Benson is predeceased by her husband, Mr. Frank Benson, two children Jack Benson and Tina Rene Benson.
Survivors are a sister, Mrs. Clara Sue (Joe) Stanfill, Luray Tn. And a brother Mr. Troy Smith (Mary) of Jackson Tn.
