Venus Harville

Venus Rainey Harville



was born on August 16, 1923 in Wayne County, Tennessee the daughter of the late Enoch and Minnie Esry Yerby Rainey.



On April 1, 1943 she was united in marriage to Harvey (Bud) Harville, who preceded her in death on May 6, 1998. Mrs. Harville was a homemaker and a member of River Heights Pentecostal Church.



She departed this life on May 4, 2006 at Savannah Health Care Center in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 82 years, 8 months and 18 days.



Mrs. Harville is survived by her children: Mary Gail Pickens of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; Wilbert Harville of Savannah, Tennessee; Geraldine Benson of Adamsville, Tennessee; Brenda Umphrey Hobbs of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; Doyle Harville of Stantonville, Tennessee and Annette Mathews of Murfreesboro, Tennessee;



11 grandchildren: Kenny Pickens, Richard Pickens, Shane Harville, Nicholas Harville, Leon Benson, Sharla Stephens, Monica Davenport, David Harville, Joshua Harville, Alan Mathews and Angie Mathews;



14 grandchildren: Richard Allen Pickens, Breona Pickens, Michael Harville, Emily Harville, Brodie Harville, Shayna Benson, Nathan Benson, Bo Stephens, Derrick Stephens, Shelby Mathews, Nikki Mathews, Austin Gomar, Riley Priest and Tyger Davenport;



and a brother, Lee Rainey of Savannah, Tennessee;



In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by

a granddaughter, Katrina Umphrey Warren;

2 great-grandchildren: Johnny Wayne Warren and Carolann Warren;

4 sisters: Florence Bryant, Deedie Franks, Erma White and Mary Narmore

and 4 brothers: Elmer Rainey, Henry Yerby, Talmadge Rainey and Clyde Rainey.
