Velma Brooks Wilson was born February 8, 1911 in Chester County, Tennessee the daughter of the late Neely and Georgia Fowler Brooks.
She was united in marriage to Loye Wilson. Mr. Wilson preceded her in death on February 1, 1990.
Mrs. Wilson was a homemaker . She was a member of the Mt. Gilead Baptist Church in Bethel Springs, Tennessee and a former Sunday school teacher.
Mrs. Wilson departed this life on November 29, 2007 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 96 Years, 9 Months, 21 Days. She is survived by five neices, Carlene Conrad and husband Cecil of Eads, TN, Christine Sparks, Jessie Murray, and Francis Murray and husband Tom all of Bethel Springs, TN and Mary Nell Rinks of Bolivar, TN; three nephews, Paul Wilson and wife Doris, Eugene Wilson and wife Margaret all of Bethel Springs, TN and Alvin Wilson and wife Mary of Selmer, TN; and a host of great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by a sister, Flossie Washam; a brother, Cecil Brooks.
