VELLAMAY HIGHLAND TILLEY
Was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on November 7, 1922 the daughter of the late Verine and Bertha Austin Highland.
On December 3, 1945 she was united in marriage to M. C. Tilley, who survives.
Mrs. Tilley was a homemaker and a member of Walnut Grove Church of Christ.
She departed this life on January 9, 2006 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 83 years, 2 months and 2 days.
Other than her husband, M. C. of Savannah, she is survived by one daughter, Diane Parrish of Counce, Tennessee.
2 sons, Junior and Larry Tilley, both of Savannah, Tennessee.
3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild
5 sisters, Lois Highland, Lucille Highland, Beatrice Highland, Thelma Bevis and Geneva Poole, all of Savannah.
4 brothers, David, James and Charles Highland, all of Savannah and Eugene Highland of Mishawaka, Indiana.
Mrs. Tilley was also preceded in death by one grandchild, one sister, Flo Ella Qualls.
