Veda Qualls

Veda Qualls was born on April 7, 1938 in Terre Haute, Indiana, the daughter of the late William and Mamie Sullivan Beatty.

On March 6, 1966, she was united in marriage to James Lee Qualls, who preceded his wife in death on January 22, 2004.

Mrs. Qualls was of the Church of Christ faith. She was a huge fan of Elvis Presley and enjoyed music, watching TV, and laughing with her family and friends. Most of all, Veda loved her children and grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them.

Veda Qualls departed this life on June 17, 2022 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 84 years, 2 months, and 10 days.

She is survived by her daughter, Gail Jones of Oklahoma; sons, Donny Qualls and his wife Robbie of Counce, Tennessee, Randy Qualls and his wife Becky of Crump, Tennessee, and Tony Qualls and his wife Quilla of Savannah, Tennessee; sister, Mary Aplin and her husband Terry of Fremont, Indiana; 14 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Veda was preceded in death by her brother, Billy Beatty and sister, Phyllis Haynes.
