Varina Newcomb

Varina Maxedon Newcomb was born April 12, 1920 in Ramer, Tennessee the daughter of the late Burtron and Lillian Reeder Maxedon.Miss Newcomb departed this life on September 19, 2008 in at the age of 88 Years, 5 Months, 7 Days. She is survived by a son, Joe McCarthy and wife Carrie of Farmington, NH; granddaughter Shelly McCarthy of Denver, CO; two brothers, Bert Maxedon of Selmer, TN and Don Maxedon of Decaturville, TN.In addition to her parents, Miss Newcomb was preceded in death by two brothers, P. J. Maxedon and Reeder Maxedon.
