Vannie N. Bridges

VANNIE N. BRIDGESwas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on April 13, 1919 the son of the late Georgie Monroe and Bertie Blankenship Bridges.On July 27, 1945 he was united in marriage to the former Clara Louise Ponds, who survives.Mr. Bridges was a machine operator for Republic Steel. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Savannah, Tennessee.Mr. Bridges departed this life on April 16, 2008 at his residence in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 89 years and 3 days.Other than his wife, Clara Louise Bridges of Savannah, Tennessee, he is survived by one daughter, Nancy Carolyn Bridges Davidson of Murfreesboro, Tennessee.2 grandchildren, Joseph William (Joe) Bonee, III and Johnny Van Bonee4 great-grandchildren, Jared Bonee, Quaid Bonee, Zack Bonee and Shelby BoneeMr. Bridges was also preceded in death by one brother, Russell Bridges and one great-grandchild, Baby Boy Bonee.
