Vada B. New was born November 3, 1920 in McNairy County, Tennessee the daughter of the late Oce and Nancy Ann Plunk Sullivan.She was united in marriage to Amos L. New. Mr. New preceded her in death on February 2, 1987. Mrs. New was a homemaker, and was a member of the Beauty Hill United Pentecostal Church in Bethel Springs, Tennessee.Mrs. New departed this life on February 22, 2008 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 87 Years, 3 Months, 19 Days. She is survived by a daughter, Brenda Pevahouse and husband David of Adamsville, TN; a son, Donald New of Michie, TN; two sisters: Tina Mae Beene of Millington, TN and Pauline Brown of Bethel Springs, TN; three grandchildren: Jeff Weatherly and wife Chasity of Bethel Springs, TN, Glenda Weatherly of Selmer, TN and Wesley Weatherly of Bethel Springs, TN; three great grandchildren, Shelby Weatherly, Aleiah Weatherly and Makinlee Weatherly. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. New was preceded in death by three sisters: Elmer Brooks, Beulah Sullivan and Virgie Smith; and two brothers, Dewey Sullivan and Willie Sullivan.
