Troy Weeks departed this life on Sunday, December 23, 2012 at the age of 73 years, 3 months, 22 days.
He was born in Corinth, Mississippi on September 1, 1939, the son of the late Charles Victor and Sallie Shepard Forsythe Weeks. He lived in Corinth until the age of 16 and then spent the rest of his life in Hardin County. On October 31, 1961, Troy was united in marriage to Jean Melson, who survives. Mr. Weeks proudly served his country in the United States Army. He had worked for Wolfe Sales Company for 35 years as a restaurant equipment installer. Mr. Weeks was a member of the Love and Truth Church. He loved the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team and was also a Tennessee Volunteers and Hardin County Tigers fan. He also enjoyed traveling out west and enjoyed the western life-style.
Mr. Weeks is survived by his wife of 51 years, Jean Weeks of Savannah, Tennessee; two sons, Greg Weeks and Jeff Weeks both of Savannah, Tennessee; three grandchildren, Chris Weeks and Kaylee Weeks both of Savannah, Tennessee and Jessica Weeks of Lexington, Tennessee; two great-grandchildren, Laken and Kynslee Lampher both of Savannah, Tennesse; three sisters, Evelyn Hamilton of Savannah, Tennessee, Barbara Ervin and Peggy Lassiter both of Corinth, Mississippi; and one brother, Fred Weeks.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Bill Weeks and Randolph Weeks.
