Troy O'Neal Sanders

Troy O'Neal Sanders was born February 5, 1949 in Corinth, MS, the son of Marie Maness Sanders and the late Troy Sanders. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and retired from Kimberly Clark. He was united in marriage to Tommie Jo Harvell in 1970. Mrs. Sanders preceded him in death on August 22, 2023.

Troy departed this life on February 8, 2024 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 75 Years, 3 Days. 

He is survived by his son, James Combs and wife Mary Jo of Selmer, TN; mother, Marie Maness Sanders; a sister, Janice "Susie" Teresin of Huntsville, AL; five grandchildren: Ann Combs Derryberry of Savannah, TN, Jamie Leigh Combs of Crestview, Florida; Jimmy T. Black of Bolivar, TN, Neal Black of Henderson, TN, John Black of Bethel Springs, TN; ten great grandchildren: Jaden Derryberry, Jax Derryberry, Kayla Combs, Natalie Combs, Samantha Black, Alyana Black, Allison Black, AnaLeigh Black, Cole Parks, Jesse Parks; nieces and nephews: Eric Sanders, Chase O'Neal Sanders, Stephanie Vincent and Megan Teresin.

In addition to his wife and father, Mr. Sanders was preceded in death by a son, Troy O'Neal Sanders Jr.; a brother, Ricky Sanders; grandparents, Shady and Anis Maness.
