Troy Harrison

TROY HARRISONwas born in Stantonville, Tennessee on July 20, 1910 the son of the late William Carrol and Georgia Alice Sanders Harrison. On August 2, 1941 he was united in marriage to the former Evelyn Moore, who preceded her husband in death on August 28, 1996.Mr. Harrison was a fuel truck driver for Tex Gas in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. He was a United States Army Veteran of World War II. Mr. Harrison was a member of the Disabled American Veterans. He departed this life on July 13, 2008 at his residence in Sheffield, Alabama at the age of 97 years, 11 months and 23 days.Mr. Harrison is survived by 4 daughters, Mary Harrison and Alice Sanderson, both of Tuscumbia, Alabama, Joyce Harrison of Sheffield, Alabama and Ludene Mills of Muscle Shoals, Alabama.3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildrenMr. Harrison was also preceded in death by 4 sisters, Pearl Thacker, Mary Alene Harrison, Vera Wardlow and Gertrude Mason and 5 brothers, Ernest, Charlie, Carl, Lawrence and Albert Harrison.
