Trester Steelman Nutt

Trester S. Nutt, age 89, of Waynesboro, TN died Friday, September 9, 2005 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro. He was born in Wayne County May 17, 1916 to the late Pleasant Green Nutt and Nettie Dabbs Nutt. He was preceded in death by daughters, Carolyn Nutt Davis and an infant daughter Elizabeth; brothers, Lytle Nutt and Fred Nutt; and sisters, Theo Brewer, Jimmy Brewer, Vesta Rasbury, and Opal Copeland. He was a World War II U. S. Army veteran. Mr. Nutt was a member of Waynesboro church of Christ where he served as an elder for the past 50 years. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Evelyn Brewer Nutt of Waynesboro; sons, James Harville (Butch) Nutt of Lawrenceville, GA, Frank (Mac) Nutt of Moore, SC, Howard S. Nutt of Lawrenceburg, TN, and David M. Nutt of Waynesboro, TN; daughter, Margaret Perry of Brentwood, TN 13 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and an expectant great grandchild.
