Travis B. Stanley

Travis B. Stanley was born July 13, 1930 in Texaco, New Mexico the son of the late Walter and Ellen Griffin Stanley.He was united in marriage to Carolyn Lambert, who preceded him in death on September 29, 2009.Mr. Stanley was a former minister in Fort Worth, Texas before moving to Tennessee. He managed several retail grocery stores and was a United States Army veteran. Mr. Stanley was a member of the Center Hill Baptist Church near Counce, Tennessee. In his spare time, he enjoyed buying, selling, and collecting junk.Mr. Stanley departed this life on October 14, 2010 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 80 Years, 3 Months, 1 Day. He is survived by a daughter, Barbara Alderett and husband Rudy of New Mexico; three sons: David Stanley and wife Lynn, Travis Stanley and wife Sharon, and Gary Stanley and wife Debbie, all of Fort Worth, TX; 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; a brother, John Stanley and wife Mary Ann of Fort Worth, TX; a step-daughter, Shyrl Smith of Adamsville, TN; a former daughter-in-law, Linda Stanley of Fort Worth, TX; and many extended family and friends. In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Stanley was preceded in death by two brothers, Doyle Stanley and Donald Stanley.
