Tracey Carter

Tracey Carter departed this life on Wednesday, September 7, 2016, at the age of 38 years, 9 months, and 16 days. He was born in McNairy County, Tennessee on November 22, 1977, the son of Doy and Marilyn Cunningham Carter. On September 25, 2014, he was united in marriage to Jada Griswell, who survives.

Tracey was a life long Hardin Countian and attended the House of Mercy Church. He was a employed with Ingram Barge Company for 15 years and was a Towboat Pilot. Tracey enjoyed hunting, riding ATV's, and spending time with his children.

He is survived by his wife, Jada Carter of Morris Chapel, Tennessee; children, Addie Carter of Morris Chapel, Tennessee, Miley Carter and Peyton Carter of Adamsville, Tennessee; step daughter, Keylie Hudson of Morris Chapel, Tennessee; parents, Doy and Marilyn Carter of Morris Chapel, Tennessee; grandfather, W. C. Cunningham of Morris Chapel, Tennessee; sister, Mandy Nixon and husband, Keith of Adamsville, Tennessee; and a niece, Lauren Phillips of Adamsville, Tennessee.

Tracey was preceded in death by his grandparents, Valley and Era Carter, and Sara Cunningham.
