Tony Watkins

Tony Watkins, 60, of Memphis, passed from this life Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at Bolivar General Hospital.
He was born Monday, October 9, 1961, in Grand Junction, son of the late Howard Wesley Watkins and Shirley Ann Andrews Watkins, living most all of his life in Shelby County and Memphis. Prior to becoming disabled, he worked for a copier courier service and worked for Rush Delivery as a hot shot courier.
He was an outdoorsman, loving to fish and hunt, but received his greatest enjoyment from being around his family and grandchildren, whom he dearly loved. He was big fan of the UT Vols, Memphis Tigers, Chicago Cubs, St. Louis Cardinals or any sports team from State of Tennessee. Mr. Watkins was Baptist/Assembly of God in faith.
Survivors include his daughters, Crystal Singleton (Stacy) of Marion, AR and Kacey Colburn (Ethan) of Cordova, TN; two sons, Chase Watkins of Washington State and Jacob Watkins of Vardaman, MS; two brothers, Howard Watkins (Barbara) of Memphis and Chuck Watkins (Bertha) of Covington, TN; his grandchildren, Anna, Hailey, Talan and Ethan Singleton, Rylie Chapel, Jace, Lillyian and Kruze Colburn and four more grandchildren that he considered his own. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry and Sammy Watkins.
