Tony Maness

Tony Maness was born in Decatur County, Tennessee on March 21, 1954 the son of the late James Uyles Maness and Cora Aileen Manners Ivy.Mr. Maness retired from American Electric Power as an engineer. He had also worked for Tennessee Valley Towing and was an Army Veteran. Mr. Maness had lived in the Hardin County area for 20 years. He was a member of the Olivet Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed music and gardening.Mr. Maness departed this life on Friday, May 30, 2008 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 54 years, 2 months, 9 days.Mr. Maness is survived by a daughter, Angela N. Maness Blount and her husband Jason of Savannah, Tennessee; six brothers, Frank Maness of Parsons ,Tennessee, Wylie Maness of Munford, Tennessee, Denny Maness of Nashville, Tennessee, John Maness, David Maness, Wayne Maness; two grandchildren, Thomas Jason Blount IV, Sarah Elizabeth Blount.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Maness.
