Tony R. Landreth was born July 6, 1960 in Joliet, IL the son of the late Henry Frank and Birdie Sue Woods Landreth.
He was united in marriage to June Arthur on April 15, 1983.
Tony was raised in Leapwood, Tennessee and attended Adamsville High School. When his father passed away he quit school to take care of his mom and siblings. He was a hardworker and believed in providing for his family, friends and neighbors. His willingness to help a friend or a stranger reflected his kindness and goodness towards others.
Tony worked as a floor technician for over 30 years in the Memphis and surrounding areas. He enjoyed gardening, taking care of his plants, and watching sports. He was a proud Cubs, Grizzlies, and Memphis Tiger fan.
He was a loving son, husband, dad, brother, granddad and friend.
Mr. Landreth departed this life on June 23, 2016 in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 55 Years, 11 Months, 17 Days. He is survived by his wife, June Arthur of Memphis, TN; three sons, Tyrone Landreth of Memphis, TN, Randy Strickland of Henderson, TN, Anthony Arthur of Memphis, TN; a sister, Donna Reeves and husband Wayne Finger of Memphis, TN; a brother, Billy Landreth of Memphis, TN; three grandsons, Steven Turpin, Bradin Moore, and Tyler Landreth; three uncles, Kenneth Tidwell and wife Susie of Moscow, TN, Larry Tidwell of Joliet, IL, and David Tidwell of Adamsville, TN; best friends who were like brothers, Chris Clark, Keith Ubel and Wayne Finger; and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Landreth was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Landreth.
