Tonie Lynne Childers

Tonie Lynne Childers was born December 25, 1966 in Bolivar, TN, the daughter of the late J. D. Childers and Shirley Yarbrough Childers. She departed this life on November 12, 2023 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 56 Years, 10 Months, 18 Days.

She was a Teachers Aid for many years before becoming disabled. One of Tonie's special talents was her knowledge of sign language. She used this skill to connect with others and spread compassion wherever she went. She enjoyed arts and crafts to pass the time.

She is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Lipford and husband Matthew of Michie, TN; Ex husband and father to Jennifer, Craig Boyd; Ex mother-in-law, Geri Boyd both of Selmer, TN; a sister, Carolyn Smith of Bolivar, TN; a brother, Terry Childers.
