Tommy Gean

TOMMY GEANwas born August 1, 1939 in Hardin County, Tennessee, son of the late Owen and Alice Jones Gean.On December 23, 1998 he married the former Sue Moore.Mr. Gean was a Retired Major in the US Army with 22 years of service. He was a former owner of S and T Variety Store. He had also drove a truck for Turnbow Trucking. He was a member of the Adamsville Freewill Baptist Church and an Ordained Minister.Mr. Gean departed this life November 16, 2008 at the age of 69 years, 3 months, and 15 days.He leaves other than his wfe Sue Gean of Savannah, Tennessee.Four daughters - Barbara Short, Bonnie Seat and Brenda Arnold all of Savannah, Tennessee - Norma Gean of Maness, Missouri.One son - Kenneth Gean - Savannah, Tennessee.Nine grandchildren - David Brown, Jessica Arnold, Donnie Cossey, Ray Gean, David Gean, Susan Gambrell, April Stutts, Kelly Seat and Jayson Hodges.Six great grandchildren - Christian and Cierra Arnold, Jeffrey Gambrell, Caroline , Hailey Stutts and Hunter Hodges.One sister - Joann Mayhall - Pickwick Dam. Tennessee.He was preceded in death by a sister - Frankie Gean and a brother - Larry Gean.
