Tommie Jean Halewas born in Finger, Tennessee on May 25, 1943 the daughter of the late Lester Lee and Lue Jane Hampton Weaver.On August 10, 1973 she was united in marriage to Cecil Dwight Hale, who survives.Mrs. Hale was a housewife and had lived most of her life in the Savannah, Tennessee area. She enjoyed quilting, flower gardening, and basketball, she was a big Kentucky Wildcat fan.Mrs. Hale departed this life at Hardin Medical Center Monday, July 7, 2008 at the age of 65 years, 1 month, 12 days.In addition to her husband, Mrs. Hale is survived by two sons: Phillip Nethery and wife Karen of Brandon ,Mississippi and David Hale of Paducah, Kentucky; three daughters: Mellony Hale, Jackie Green and husband Greg all of Paducah, Kentucky, and Tracy Jenkins and husband Clay of Boaz, Kentucky; one sister: Donna McGee of Bethel Springs, Tennessee; two brothers: Ray Weaver of Coldwater, Mississippi and Carroll Weaver of Toone, Tennessee; six grandchildren: Jennifer, Tara, Sarah, Bart, Molly, Jamie; two great-grandchildren: Abigail and Anakin.In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hale was preceded in death by a brother: Lester Lee Weaver, Jr.; three sisters: Lois Shumpert, Rita Graves, and Audry Lynch.
