Was born in Wayne County, Tennessee on August 16, 1916 the son of the late Isham and Mary Shull Beckham.
He was united in marriage to the former Verdie Barnett, who preceded her husband in death on July 12, 1991.
Mr. Beckham was a former operator of Neill Grocery.
He departed this life on September 8, 2005 at the Park Rest Nursing Home in Savannah at the age of 89 years and 23 days.
Mr. Beckham is survived by one daughter, Mary Nell Sweat of Savannah.

3 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild
Mr. Beckham was also preceded in death one grandchild, Brandon Sweat.
