Toka McCalip Brooks

Toka McCalip Brooks was born June 21, 1915 in McNairy County, Tennessee the daughter of the late Ross and Alma Sanders McCalip. She was a Factory Worker and Homemaker, Member of the Good Hope Baptist Church, Married for 71 years to James Elmo Brooks. Conducted a prison and christian film ministry with her husband. They also played Mr. and Mrs. Clause for area children. Former church pianist and Sunday School teacher.Ms. Brooks departed this life on April 21, 2006 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 90 Years, 10 Months.Ms. Brooks is survived by her Husband James Elmo Brooks of Adamsville, TN, a Daughter Bobbie Tidwell and husband Gene of Hendersonville, Tennessee, TN, a H. Norman Brooks and wife Edith of Germantown, Tennessee, and a Sister Geneva Johnson of Cordova, TN. 5 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren,
