Todd Harrison Hughes

Todd Harrison Hughes was born on September 3, 1980, in Jackson, Tennessee, the son of Hardin and Sherry Dianne Hughes.

After high school, Todd worked at an auto body repair shop and one of his favorite hobbies was to purchase every kind of Snap On Tool he could find. He later went to school for heating and air repair. He loved his job and was great at it. Todd would do work for free when he knew the client couldn't afford the services. Due to an accident, his leg was burned and required fourteen surgeries, making his skin thin and fragile. He could no longer do the work he loved and this was hard for him.

Todd was a devout Christian and was baptized at the Father's House Church in Bath Springs, Tennessee. He will be remembered as a generous, kind, loving, Christian person. He was always willing to help anyone he could and had a wonderful heart. Todd will be greatly missed by the many friends and family that loved him dearly throughout his life. His greatest love of all was his family. He loved every second spent with his daughter, Alyssa, and his family will always cherish the precious memories they have with him.

Todd Hughes departed this life on April 28, 2019, at his home in Savannah, Tennessee, at the age of 38 years, 7 months, and 26 days.

He is survived by his parents, Hardin and Sherry Hughes of Savannah, Tennessee; daughter, Alyssa Simpson of Savannah, Tennessee; brother, Robert Christopher Hughes and his wife Cathy of Savannah, Tennessee; aunt, Marsha Jenkins and her husband Johnny of Jackson, Tennessee; and his cousins, Jason Jenkins, Rachel Jenkins, and Kaitlin Jenkins and her daughter Jasmin Kate.

Todd was preceded in death by his grandparents, Grady and Bonnie Kate Harrison and C. Hardin Hughes, Sr. and Carloss Hughes.
