Tim Parks

Jacks Creek, TN: Timothy Ray Parks, age 45, passed away Friday, August 26, 2022 at his home.
He was born in Lakeview, MI on October 3, 1976, son of Betty Anne Ho Parks and the late Garold Ray Parks. As a young boy he grew up in Mecosta, MI. He graduated from Chippewa Hills High School in Remus, MI in 1994.

After high school he attended ITT Tech in Grand Rapids and earned an AA in CAD-CAM while working for Menards Home Improvement. After graduating he worked for Randell Manufacturing for a time before moving to Midland, MI and began doing computer drafting and design for Case Systems where he worked for several years until he had to retire due to a health disability. He then moved to Jacks Creek, TN in 2008 to be with his family.

He had many interests. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, dancing, video games, watching movies and was an avid news watcher that kept up with current events and shared them with friends and family. In his youth he enjoyed roller blading and playing hockey. He enjoyed watching many sports and especially enjoyed playing Fantasy Football. He loved going out to eat and enjoyed trying new and various types of cuisine.
He loved the Lord, was gentle and kindhearted and loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his mother Betty Anne Parks of Jacks Creek; two sisters Deborah Anne Turley (Myron) of Columbia, TN and Sherry Anne Pattenaude of Jacks Creek; three brothers Anthony Ray Parks (Vicky) of Barryton, MI, Michael Ray Parks (Marta) of West Palm Beach, FL, Richard Ray Parks (Carol) of Essex Junction, VT; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Henderson – East Main Chapel on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

There will be a private family funeral and burial will be in Bailey Cemetery in Jacks Creek.
