TIM CROWDER
Bemis, TN: Timothy Lynn Crowder age 54 passed away Friday, July 15, 2016 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
He was born January 27, 1962 in Jackson, TN the son of the late Robert Leon and Paulette Sonja King Crowder Hunke. He graduated from Southside High School in 1980. While at Southside he excelled in football and baseball and was scouted by the St. Louis Cardinals and had attended their work out camp. He was employed by Western Kentucky Navigation as a First Mate River Navigator. He married Tina Melvin in 1997 and they made their home at Bemis. He was a member of the Bear Creek Methodist Church.
Mr. Crowder is survived by his wife, Tina Marie Melvin Crowder of Jackson, a daughter, Kari Lynn Hardee of Parsons and three sons, Timmy Paul Jones of Charlotte, NC, Ryan Alan Mills of Springfield, TN and Hink Mills of Jacks Creek, TN; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren; two brothers, Rick Crowder of Beech Bluff, TN and Jeff Hammonds of Medina, TN and two sisters, Denise Stringfellow of Beech Bluff, TN and Shelia Beshires of Pinson, TN.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Casey Chapel with Josh Cantrell officiating. Burial will follow in Bear Creek Cemetery at Pinson, TN.
The family will receive friends at Casey Chapel 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday.
