Tildon Locke

Mr. Tildon Locke was born Tuesday, October 20, 1914 in McNairy County, Tennessee the son of Ernest and Dovie Kirk Locke.On March 24, 1934, he was united in marriage to the former Sue Goolsby who preceded him in death on June 6, 1984.A member of the Sanctified Church of Christ, Mr. Locke was the former owner of Locker Brothers Lumber Company and Pappy John\'s Barbecue. He was also a former McNairy County Commissioner and Justice of the Peace.Mr. Locke departed this life on Sunday, August 28, 2005 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 90 years, 10 months, and 8 days.He is survived by a daughter, Betty Howell of Selmer; son, Kenneth Locke of Selmer; sisters, Sue Hill and Vergie Redmon both of Selmer; grandchildren, Angie Donahoe and Sonya Burton; great grandchildren, Harrison Donahoe, Abigale Burton, and Sam Burton; step-grandchildren, Teresa Bradley and Andy Willis; four step great grandchildren, Chip Bradley, Max Bradley, Charlie Willis and Jay Willis.
