Thurman Easton Stults

Services for Thurman Easton Stults, age 82, of Collinwood will be Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Collinwood with Tim Hanback and John E. Banks officiating. Burial will be in Jackson Cemetery, Cypress Inn, TN, with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.



Pallbearers will be Adam Andrews, Bobby Joe Warren, Daniel Lard, Shane Risner, Colby Risner, Lucas Risner, Josh Stults, and Wesley Stults. Honorary pallbearers will be Vince Hollis, Chris Howe, and Jonathan Kephart



He was born January 6, 1928 in Cypress Inn, Tennessee the son of the late Matheney Eston and Nettie Lee Vickery Stults. He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Skaggs Stults; a sister, Irma Stults; five brothers, Ray, Raymond, Arlie, Doyle, and Clifford Stults. He died Sunday, November 28, 2010 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro. Mr. Stults, a U.S. Army veteran, was a retired machinist at Tennessee Valley Authority, a member of

I.A.M. Local 65, a mason, and a member of Piney Grove Freewill Baptist church.



He is survived by a son, Tracy Stults and wife, Susan, of Florence, AL; five daughters, Kay Hanback and husband, Barry of Cypress Inn, TN, Joan Lard and husband, Dannie of Collinwood, TN, Carol Green and husband, Ron of Huntsville, AL, Jan Risner and husband, Jerry and Keddith Andrews and husband, Dwight all of Collinwood, TN; grandchildren, Candy Hanback Hollis and husband, Vince, Bridgette Hanback Howe and husband, Chris, Crystal Warren, Bobby Joe Warren, Shane Risner and wife, Lindsey , Colby Risner, Lucas Risner, Stephanie Lard Kephart and husband, Jonathan, Daniel Lard and wife, Sadie, Josh Stults, Wesley Stults, Adam Andrews, and Abby Andrews; great-grandchildren, Charlee, Darbee, and Noah Hollis, Lydia and Cole Risner, Caden, Shylar, and Payzlee Kephart, Kennedy, Kenzie, and Drey Howe, and Austin Stults; a brother, Aaron Stults and wife, Shirley, of Cypress Inn, TN.
