Thurman N. Moore

Thurman N. Moore was born March 21, 1927 in McNairy County, Tennessee the son of the late Wes and Minnie Lou Whitten Moore.He was united in marriage to Jo Isbell who survives.Mr. Moore was retired from Brown Shoe Company in Selmer after 43 years of service. He was a member of the Lakeview Baptist Church in Selmer, Tennessee.Mr. Moore departed this life on July 28, 2008 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 81 Years, 4 Months, 7 Days. He is survived by his wife Jo (Isbell) Moore of Selmer, TN; two sons, Terry Moore and wife Lisa of Selmer, TN, Phillip Moore and wife Pat of Selmer, TN; a stepdaughter, Dianne Henson and husband Emerson of Bethel Springs, TN; three sisters, Margie Goodrum of Bethel Springs, TN, Virginia Davidson of Batavia, IA, Betty Ingram of Selmer, TN; two brothers, Arthur Moore of Benton, AR, Odis Moore of Selmer, TN; two grandchildren, Christopher Moore, Ashley Moore, one step grandchild, Paige Hatch; two step great grandchildren Macee Payne and C.J. Payne.In addition to his parents, Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his first wife, Tommie Moore; three sisters, Myrtle Hall, Annelle Jolly, Pauline Moore; and a brother, Curtis Moore.
