Thomas Paul Moore

Mr. Moore died early Tuesday morning at McNairy County Regional Hospital in Selmer.The widower of Babe Ruth Cox Moore, who died November 28, 2004, after 55 years of marriage, he was retired from the US Army as a Sergeant First Class, having served in Korea and Viet Nam. A native of McNairy County, he was born to the late Homer and Zola Smith Moore and lived in Augusta, Georgia for 25 years and here since 1992. He loved to hunt and was attended Powell's Chapel Methodist Church.



He is survived by a daughter, Sherry Dressel and husband, Wyman; and a son, Ritchie L. Moore and wife, Elicia, all of North Augusta, SC; a brother, Joseph Maynard Moore of Selmer; three grandchildren, Phillip Dressel and his wife, Tammie, Regina Moore Pettigrew and her husband, Keith and Brian Moore; and two great grandchildren, Brandon and Brittany Dressel.
