THOMAS FRANK MCELYEAwas born in West Frankfort, Illinois on May 25, 1954 the son of the late Walter Griese and Freda Walton McElyea.Mr. McElyea was united in marriage to Kathy Stafford, who preceded her husband in death.Mr. McElyea was a truck driver for Midwest Logistics South. He departed this life on July 30, 2009 at Saint Thomas Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 55 years, 2 months and 5 days.He is survived by one son, Ricky McElyea and his wife Pamela of Houma, Louisiana and one daughter, Trena Norris and her husband Richard of Savannah, Tennessee6 grandchildren, Cody Norris, Jacob Norris, Brianna Norris, Tristian McElyea, Kristen McElyea and Tiffany McElyea.2 sisters, Pamela Morris of Plainfields, Illinois and Mona Collier of West Frankfort, Illinois.
