Thomas Nelson Graves, 59, of Hickory Valley, died Saturday, August 12, 2006 at Methodist LeBonheur Hospital in Germantown.
The husband of Dolly A. Graves, who survives, he was a self-employed carpenter. Mr. Graves was born October 10, 1946 in Hickory Valley, son of the late Marvin Gaither Graves and Alma Dean Clark Graves and lived here all of his life. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp during the Vietnam Conflict and was a member of Middleburg Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, whom he married July 14, 1969; three daughters, Kimberly Gwynn Graves of Hickory Valley, Jennifer Lynn Breedlove of Middleton and Jessica Leigh Langley of Pocahontas; a son, Michael Kevin Graves of Hickory Valley; one brother, Hobart Graves of Macon and eleven grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Travis Lawrence Graves and a sister, Bonnie Sue Graves.
