Thomas Washington Doles, 76, of Bolivar, died Tuesday, October 25 at Bolivar General Hospital.
The widower of Geraldine Doles, who died December 30, 1999 after 52 years of marriage, he was an independent truck driver. Mr. Doles was born July 7, 1929 in Bolivar, son of the late Willie Thomas Doles and Carlie Mathis Doles and lived here all of his life. He was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church.
Services were 2 pm Thursday, October 27, 2005 at Shackelford Funeral Directors Bolivar chapel with George Weaver officiating. Burial was in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
He is survived by two daughters, Dora Lee Doles of Pinson and Barbara Ann Allen of Middleton; four sons, Jerry Thomas Doles of Bethel Springs, David W. Doles of Middleton, Jackie E. Doles of Nashville and Rodger D. Doles of Humboldt; one sister, Willie Lou Hannis of Bolivar; thirteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
