He was born in Mayfield, KY the son of the late Rudy and Helen Ralph Carrico. He graduated from St. Jerome High School in Mayfield, KY in 1961. He was married to Bonnie Pollock in 1984. He was in business for himself for 45 years. He coached basketball and softball taking one of his teams to the State Championship. He was an ordained minister through Missionary Church International in 1997. He founded a Mexico Ministry, which resulted in a school of Ministry in San Fernando, Mexico. He had a live broadcast on Unity Television in Booneville, MS for four years. He was the founder and Shepard of Petra International Ministries of Finger, TN and Director of Angel Food Ministry.
He is survived by his wife Bonnie Pollock Carrico of Jackson; three daughters Sandy Carrico Morgan of Murray, KY, Shannon Carrico of Paducah, KY and Jill Carrico Rogers of Mayfield, KY; four sons Mike Carrico of Henning, TN, Tracey Carrico of Mayfield, KY, Justin Carrico of Mayfield, KY and Joel Carrico of Lexington, KY; his mother Helen French of Fancy Farm , KY; a sister Mary Beth Rohrer of Dublin, KY; two brothers Jerry Carrico and Phil Carrico both of Fancy Farm, KY and ten grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM, Wednesday, from the Chapel of Leon Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. Harry Burkhead and Sister Carolyn Norris officiating and Graveside services will follow 11:00 Am Thursday, at Highland Park Cemetery at Mayfield, KY. The Family will have a Visitation 5-9PMWednesday at Bryn Funeral Home in Mayfield Kentucky
The family will receive friends at Leon Johnson Funeral Home after 5:00 PM on Tuesday.
