Theresa Ann Walton

Theresa Ann Walton, beloved daughter, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away July 3, 2024 at the age of 69.

She was born  December 16, 1954, to Raymond and Barbara Parent of Jackson, MS, both of whom preceded her in death.

Theresa married Steven Walton of Toone, TN and even though their paths diverged, she remained grateful for the memories they shared.  From this union, they were blessed with two children, Matthew Walton of Jackson, TN and Christina Walton (Derrick) of Toone, TN.

Family meant the world to Theresa.  She cherished the moments spent with loved ones, her brother, Paul Parent (Sandra) and sister, Sonja Stiles.  Her grandchildren brought her much joy, Victoria, Mona and Deborah Traylor and Holden Walton (Sara).  She had 3 great grandchildren and was eagerly awaiting the arrival of her 4th great grandchild.  She also had a host of nieces & nephews and cousins from Vermont she spoke of often.

In her spare time, Theresa enjoyed shopping and doing yard work.  She took great pride in maintaining and ensuring the land around her was beautiful.  Her most prized possession was her extended video collection of over 5000 blockbuster movies and TV shows.  She also loved the fantasy genre and had a vast collection of fairies and mermaid figurines.
