Thelma Ryals

March 30, 1911 — September 26, 2005

She was born and reared in McNairy County, moved to Pinson in 1923, the daughter of the late Andrew Jackson and Mary Etta Green Sparks. She attended school in McNairy County and Pinson and graduated Pinson High School in 1932. She was married to Ernest J. Ryals in 1934 and they made their home in the Unity Community, where Mr. Ryals was a farmer and a well driller. Mr. Ryals died in 1972.
