Thelma Peddy

Henderson, TN: Thelma Marcelle Rhodes Peddy, age 78 passed away Wednesday evening December 8, 2010 at Chester County Healthcare.
She was born and reared in the Laster School House Community of Henderson County, the daughter of the late Finis Bryan Rhodes and Martha Hazel Ryals Rhodes Hayre. She graduated from the Milan Sitka Building in l950 and attended West Tennessee Business College for secretarial work. She married Allen Peddy in 1956. They made their home in Chester County. She loved to garden and sew for her children. She was a member of the Holly Springs Methodist Church. Mr. Peddy died in 2009.
She is survived by three sons, Bryan Peddy of Nashville, Mark Peddy and wife Starla of Henderson and Brent Peddy and wife Celeste of Rock Hill, SC; three daughters, Cynthia Haynes and husband Greer of Germantown, Lisa Peddy of Henderson and Tina Henley and husband Eddie of Henderson; seven grandchildren, Nathan Haynes, Derek Haynes, Alexis Peddy, Justin Peddy, Katie Peddy, Michael Jones and Taylor Henley and two sisters, Nelma Davis of Nashville and Kay Weaver of Finger.
