Mrs. Pafford died Friday at Baptist Hospital DeSoto in Southaven, Mississippi.
The widow of Harry E. 'Windy' Pafford, Sr., who died on October 20, 2005, she retired as an inspector with General Electric. She was born to John Henry Flake an Myrtle Virginia Matthews Flake, both of whom preceded her in death and lived in Memphis for several years, spending the last 19 years in Middleton. Mrs. Pafford was a member of Middleton First Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters and their husbands, Patsy and Larry Deplois of LIvingston, Tex. and Joy and Lester Billingsley of Senatobia, Miss.; a sister, Shirley Spencer of Walnut, Miss.; two brothers, Clyde Flake of Pocahontas and LaDale Flake of Jackson; four grandchildren, Larry Deplois, Jr., Eddie DeWayne Pafford, Ashley and Brittany Billingsley; and five great grandchildren, Matthew, Macie, Jacob and Kasey Deplois and Ethan Pafford. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Harry E. "Eddie" Pafford, Jr., seven sisters and two brothers.
