THELMA RUTH DAVIDSON
Memphis, TN: Thelma Ruth Price Davidson age 68 passed away December 24, 2021 at St. Francis Hospital – Bartlett.
She was born August 13, 1953 in Crossville, TN, the daughter of the late Rainey and Mary Cox Price. She grew up in Crossville and moved to Memphis as a teen. She married Donald E. Davidson, Sr. on Aug. 10, 1970 and they made their home in Memphis during their 51 years of marriage.
She enjoyed flower gardening and arts and crafts. She was a very nice and generous person who believed in giving people a second chance.
She was very family oriented and loved each member dearly.
Mrs. Davidson is survived by her husband, Donald Davidson, Sr. of Memphis; three sons, Donald Davidson, Jr., Thomas D. Davidson and Steven J. (Stacy) Davidson all of Memphis; two brothers, Ray P. Price and Jacky Price both of Dayton, TN; two sisters, Leona Melton of Millington and Donna Manley of Senatobia, MS; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Christopher M. Davidson and three brothers Doug Cox, Joe Price, and Rainey Price, Jr.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday December 29th at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue Chapel.
The family will receive friends at Crook Avenue from 12 noon until 2 PM service time on Wednesday.
