THELMA NEWMAN BINGHAM
was born in Saltillo, Tennessee on December 5, 1911 the daughter of the late Mitchell Perry and Ollie Alexander Newman.
On May 13, 1933 she was united in marriage to Edward Bingham, who preceded his wife in death on March 26, 1985.
Mrs. Bingham retired from H. I. S. as a supervisor. She was a member of Saltillo Church of Christ, the Eastern Star and the Home Demonstration Club. Mrs. Bingham was very active in the Senior Citizens. She wrote the Saltillo Community News for the Savannah Courier.
Mrs. Bingham departed this life on December 3, 2007 at the Hardin Home Nursing Home in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 95 years, 11 months and 28 days.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Nancy White of Savannah, Tennessee and Ann White of Saltillo, Tennessee.

11 grandchildren, Kim West, Bentley Bingham, Eddie White, Kevin White, Greg White, Carol Ann Bingham, Shawn White, Kristi Johnson, Seth White, Bethany White and Erin White.
11 great-grandchildren, Ryan West, Amanda West, Natalie White, Nicole White, Casey White, Kody White, Joshua White, Kaitlyn White, Stephen White, Hayden White and Lance Johnson.
Other than her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by 2 grandchildren, Heather White Phillips and Joshua Shane White, 3 sisters, Gladys Hardin, Edra Turner and Dorothy Bingham and one brother, William Newman.
