Terry Wiggins, 58, of Whiteville, died Friday morning, August 4, 2006 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
The husband of Dorris Connor Wiggins, who survives, he was a maintenance and grounds manager at Victory Ranch for 5 years and had worked for over 25 years at Jackson & Keller Lumber Company. Mr. Wiggins was born January 24, 1948 in Hardeman County, the son of Willie Theo Wiggins and Ruby Jame Wooten Wiggins and lived here all of his life. He was a member of the Hardeman County Fair Board, loved to travel and was Baptist in belief.
Services were 2 p.m. Sunday, August 6, 2006 at Shackelford Funeral Directors Bolivar chapel with Blake White and Dennis Smith officiating. Burial was in Bolivar Memorial Cemetery.
In addition to his wife, whom he married April 21, 1972, he leaves his aunt, Minnie Cooksey of Bolivar; uncle and aunt, Harlan and Margie of Bolivar; uncle, Carnell Breeden of Whiteville; aunt and uncle, Freddie and Bobby Graves of Ashland, Miss.; first cousin, Greg Breeden, who was like a brother to him, his wife, Bonnie and their son, Dan, all of Whiteville; numerous other cousins; step-sisters, Estelle Davis of Hendersonville and Libby Fox of Decatur, Ala.; sister-in-law, Mary Connor Jones of Jackson and his loving and faithful pet dog, “Nickâ€.
