Terry Lane Whitten

Terry Lane Whitten, age 53, of Cypress Inn, TN died Wednesday, May 3, 2006 at his home. He was born August 23, 1952 in Florence, Alabama. He was a son of Garner (Mutt) Whitten and Dorothy Wilson Whitten of Cypress Inn. He was preceded in death by an infant brother. Mr. Whitten operated Terry’s Texaco in Collinwood for several years and also worked at Rudy’s Farms until he became disabled in 1990. He was of the Baptist faith.



Survivors other than his parents are his wife of 34 years; Connie Brewer Whitten; sons, Timothy Whitten and wife Kim all of Cypress Inn; Christopher Whitten and wife Alicia of Oliver Springs; Grandsons, Blake Robert Whitten and David Bryant Whitten; brothers, Jerry and wife Brenda, Mike and wife Susan, and Randy and wife Marsha all of Cypress Inn; sister; Betty Ethridge and husband Rick of Florence ; sister in law Kathey Brewer Daniel and husband James; nieces, Melissa Whitten, Kelly Whitten, and Shelia Daniel ; nephews, Chad and Adam Whitten.
