Terry Lane King, aged 73, passed away on October 8, 2024, in Memphis, TN. Born on February 13, 1951, Terry was known for his deep appreciation for classic country music, his dedication to working on cars, and his love for western films. A mechanic by trade, Terry also served proudly in the Army.

Terry enjoyed a life rich with hobbies such as hunting, fishing, and watching his favorite westerns. His love for music often filled his home with timeless melodies, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Above all, Terry cherished moments spent with his dog, Peewee, who was not only his pet but his best friend and "partner in crime."

He leaves behind a loving family: his son, Phillip King, with whom he shared an unbreakable bond; daughter, Kimberly Cimbalo (Stephen); brothers, Manley King (Janet) and Jerry King (Peggy); and seven grandchildren, Patrick, Brittanie, Tricia, Haley, Charlie, Olivia, and Hudson. His legacy also continues through his ex-wife, Paula Martello, his niece, Leah Woods, and numerous nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly. Terry was preceded in death by his son, Christopher King; parents, Gilbert and Frances King; sisters, Patricia Flint and Katie Woods; and brother-in-law, Alec Flint.

Terry’s life was marked by his resilient spirit, a passion for the simple pleasures in life, and the deep bonds he formed with those around him. His memory will be cherished and kept alive in the hearts of all who knew him.  Memorial contributions in his name may be sent to the Memphis Humane Society (www.memphishumane.org)
