Terry D. Gardner

Terry D. Gardner departed this life on Sunday, November 8, 2015 at the age of 64 years, 8 months, 30 days. He was born in Selmer, Tennessee on February 9, 1951 the son the late Elmer D. and Loneda Rickman Gardner. He was united in marriage to Marilyn Wilson Gardner on March 3, 1985.

Terry D. was retired from the McNairy County Sheriff's Department where he served as a Sheriff Deputy for 25 years. Prior to his employment, he completed his education at the Tennessee Police Academy. He was a member of Unity Baptist Church in Ramer, TN.

He enjoyed doing mechanic work in his shop. He also liked traveling to East Tennessee to the Great Smoky Mountains. In his earlier years, Terry D. enjoyed riding motorcycles and flying airplanes.

Terry D. is survived by his wife of 30 years, Marilyn Wilson Gardner of Ramer, TN; one son, Tyler Gardner of Ramer, TN; one daughter, Chelsea Gardner of Ramer, TN; sisters, Barbara Bright and husband Junior of Selmer, TN, Linda Kay Smith and husband Perry of Michie, TN and Robbie Todd and husband Mark of Bethel Springs, TN; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins who all loved him.
