Terry Chandler, age 54 of Middleton, passed from this life Monday morning, January 26, 2009 at his home.
He was born March 7, 1954 to Gladys Arlene Shearon Chandler Porter and the late James Elton Chandler in Memphis, TN. He graduated with the Bolivar Central High School graduating class of 1972 and attended Whiteville Vo-Tech. He married Diane McDonald, who survives, June 14, 1975, and managed the Motor Parts and Bearing store in Middleton for 12 years prior to working at Kilgore in Toone, TN for ten years as a research and development technician. He loved to hunt and served as a deacon at the Brint's Chapel Baptist Church in Middleton.
In addition to his wife and mother, survivors include a father-in-law, Van McDonald of Middleton; two sisters-in-law, Charlotte Watkins and husband Ricky of Hickory Valley and Debra Howell and husband Dwade of Middleton; a niece, Katie Eppers and husband Brian; four nephews, Adam Howell, Jared Watkins, Jacob Watkins and Caleb Watkins; two great-nieces, Alix Eppers and Allyson Watkins; and a great-nephew, Jaden Eppers.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a stepfather, George Porter, three children and a mother-in-law, Thelma McDonald.
