Teddy Ray Handley

Teddy Ray Handley was born May 27, 1939 in Savannah, Tennessee the son of the late Arthur Jackson and Emma Susan Hartley Handley.On April 22, 1961, he was united in marriage to Margaret Wood who survives.Mr. Handley was a member of the Eureka United Methodist Church. He was the owner and operator of the Atwood Market for 30 years. He loved talking with his customers and his family. He also loved fishing and swimming. Mr. Handley proudly served his country in the Army National Guard. Mr. Handley departed this life on October 28, 2010 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 71 Years, 5 Months, 1 Day.In addition to his wife, Margaret Handley of Savannah, TN, Mr. Handley is survived by a daughter, Kathy Lynn Carroll of Savannah, TN; two grandchildren, Kaitlin Margaret Carroll and Caleb James Keith Cunningham; a sister, Patsy Gibbs of Savannah, TN; and two brothers, Rex Handley and Tommy Handley both of Savannah, TN. In addition to his parents, Mr. Handley was preceded in death by a son, Keith Ray-Wood Handley; two sisters, Thelma Boswell and Helen Bernice Greene; six brothers, Marvin Handley, A. Jack Handley Jr., Dan Handley, Billy Handley, Frank Handley and Bobby Handley.
