Teddy Elzo Butler

Memorial services for Teddy Elzo Butler, age 65, of Collinwood, TN will be Sunday, February 1, 2009 at 2 pm at Butler Grove Freewill Baptist Church, Iron City, TN with Eural Daniel, Jr. officiating and Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County directing. The family will greet visitors thirty minutes before the service at the church.



Mr. Butler died at his home on Sunday, January 4, 2009 and at his request, his body was donated to science.



A native of Wayne County, TN, he was a retired utility worker with the City of Collinwood and was a Freewill Baptist. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Sarah Stults Butler, a brother, Eugene Butler, and a sister, Sue Dennis.



Survivors, wife, Valerie Butler, Hernando, MS; daughter, Joann Stewart, WV; four grandchildren; brothers, Frank Butler, St. Joseph, TN, Tony D. Butler, Iron City, TN; sisters, Dixie Brown and Willodean Morefield both of Waynesboro, TN, Jewel Butler, Iron City, TN; several nieces and nephews.
