Tammy Joy Ogden "Dellinger"

Tammy Joy Ogden "Dellinger," a cherished homemaker and beloved member of her family, left this world on April 6, 2025, in Middleton, Tennessee. She was born on July 24, 1962, in Memphis, Tennessee, where her journey began, filled with love, laughter, and the joyful spirit that would define her life.

Tammy was a beacon of light for her family, nurturing and guiding her loved ones with unwavering affection. She is survived by her devoted husband, Johnny Dellinger of Middleton; her children, Amy Carson of Bartlett, Gregory Crouse of Leesville, LA, Amanda Cox of Tunica, and Amber Shaw of Olive Branch, MS. Tammy's legacy continues through her precious grandchildren: Ashtyn, Adyn, Caleb, Owen, Heath, Tate, Sadie, Heidi, and Rylan, who brought her immense joy and pride.

Tammy was known for her vibrant personality and a heart that welcomed everyone. In her spare time, she found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was listening to the soulful tunes of Lainey Wilson, enjoying captivating episodes of Family Feud with Steve Harvey, or engaging her mind with puzzles. She was a devout reader of the Bible, finding comfort and inspiration in its pages. Her passions reflected a love for both laughter and peace, creating memories that will be treasured by all who knew her.

Tammy was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Jean Burgess Bray; her brother, Gregory Bray; and her sister, Theresa Bray. They will greet her with open arms, their spirits forever united in love.

A visitation to honor Tammy will take place on April 14, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Bolivar, Tennessee. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM, with interment at Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery in Middleton at 2:30 PM.
