T. J. BRYANTwas born in Wayne County, Tennessee on February 8, 1927 the son of the late Garlin and Lucy Clay Bryant.On November 25, 1951 he was united in marriage to the former Norma Jo Wilkerson, who survives.Mr. Bryant was a carpenter and painter. He was a United States Army Veteran of World War II. Mr. Bryant was a member of Shady Grove Freewill Baptist Church. He worked for Hassell Lumber Company from 1950 to the 1960's. Mr. Bryant was owner of Bryant's Antiques. He enjoyed fishing and refinishing antiques. Mr. Bryant departed this life on January 30, 2008 at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 80 years, 11 months and 22 days.Other than his wife, Norma Jo of Savannah, Tennessee, he is survived by one daughter, Dianne Mabry of Savnnah, Tennessee.2 grandchildren, Amanda Turner and Crystal Malone3 great-grandchildren, Chloe Turner, Hanna Malone and Brayden Turnerone sister, Sue Hurt and her husband J. W. of Savannah, TennesseeMr. Bryant was also preceded in death by one son, Tommy Bryant and one brother, James L. Bryant.
