Henderson, TN: Sylvia Louise Rouse Johnson, age 55 passed away November 30, 2011 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
She was born and reared in Chester County, the daughter of the late John Wesley Bishop and Toker Rouse. She graduated from Chester County High School in 1974 and married Jimmy Johnson in 1976. They made their home in the Plainview Community. She did a lot of volunteer work for the children’s elementary schools.
She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Wayne Johnson; a son, Jeffrey Johnson and a daughter, Jennifer Johnson all of Henderson; a brother, Jacob Rouse of Henderson and four sisters, Mildred Goodwin of Henderson, Kathy Vann of Pinson, Barbara Flatt of Logansport, IN and Lois Jean Bishop of Henderson.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Sarah Frances Vann.
