SYBLE BAIN HOLDER



Jackson, TN: Mary Syble Bain Holder age 78 passed away June 2, 2013 at her home.



She was born and reared in Madison County the daughter of the late Carl Magellan and Ester Delena Sells Bain. She went to school in Madison County and graduated from Pinson High School in 1952. She married Wendell Holder in 1952. They made their home in Memphis for ten years and moved to Jackson in 1962. She worked for South Central Bell and retired in 1990. She loved to dress up as a clown for the Camp Blue Bird that are cancer survivors. Mrs. Holder was a member of the Jackson Family Worship Center. She loved bowling and being a grandmother.



She is survived by her husband, Wendell Dwain “W.D.” Holder of sixty years of Jackson; two sons, Terry Holder and wife Cindy and Dwain Holder and wife Karen all of Jackson; a daughter, Teresa Holder Barnwell and husband David of Duck River, TN; seven grandchildren, Shelby Wright (Todd), Amber Hood (Richard), Megan Barnwell, Harley Morrissey, Elise Morrissey, Tessa Holder and Holly Holder and one great grandchild, Addison Hood; three brothers, William Bain of Medina, Ronald Bain of Jackson and Jerry Bain of Henderson and three sisters, Joyce Hart Brewer of Henderson, Patricia Hodges of Beech Bluff and Shirley Brien of Jackson.



She was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Bain.



Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Wednesday at New Friendship Church with Troy Kilzer and Ronnie Sells officiating and burial will follow in New Friendship Cemetery.



The family will receive friends at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Casey Chapel 5 PM until 8 PM Tuesday and beginning at 2:00 PM Wednesday at New Friendship Church.



In lieu of flowers donations can be made to New Friendship Cemetery Fund, 720 New Friendship Road, Beech Bluff, TN 38313
